“EKOS THE ANNEXATION SURVEY”

“EKOS THE ANNEXATION SURVEY”

An EXCLUSIVE DOCUMENTARY FROM HABEAS CORPUS CANADA- featuring a core sampling of questions put to Canadians in 2006 on the annexation of Canada to the United States of America and Mexico. Ekos Research Associates conducted the study and are close associates of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives  (task force authors of the 2005 “Building A North American Community” plan to annex Canada to the USA and Mexico).

Ekos also works with the North American Forum on Integration (NAFI) based in Montreal, Canada, which is running the Model Parliament for North America. Questions in the Ekos annexation survey mention “North American Union,” “European Union,” common currency, removal of the Canada-US border and others.

Why is this important? It establishes the fact that the NGO’s and the Government of Canada were and are seeking information from Canadians on what they feel about an “North American Union”, Deep Integration, Harmonization, NAFTA and our National Currency. It’s quite obvious these surveys were done with manipulated questions, concealing facts in order to get a wanted response.

Questions like, “Canada, United States and Mexico should have an economic union like the European Union.”,  ”Over the next 10 years, how likely is it that Canada, the U.S. and Mexico will form a North American Union?”, “Which of the following statements is closer to your own view?:”

- with North American economic integration, Canada should harmonize its social programs with the U.S. in order to be economically competitive.
- with North American economic integration, Canada should maintain its current social programs even if it means being less economically competitive.

In an April 2004 Document titled “Building a 21st Century Canada-United States Partnership in North America“, The CCCE used polling information from EKOS to justify their objective of removing regulatory differences between Canada and the United States. The CCCE also goes on to mention “Over the past year, there has been an explosion of research and discussion about options for North America. The intensity of the discussion has been greatest in Canada, but it has spread into both the United States and Mexico, across academic, business and government circles. There is clearly much more to be explored, tested and eventually negotiated, but the immense amount of work done over the past year has established a meaningful foundation for more detailed discussion of our options.”

This information then becomes available to our so-called government which merely “subscribes” to them (with the research company owning all the rights, and selling each ’survey’ as a product) a product that the top CEO’s of Canada (CCCE) are more than happy to bundle up in a nice neat little package for our “North American Leaders” to adopt as policy. Why hasn’t the government of Canada and the United States conducted their own reasearch instead of relying on “private interest”?

If the Government working with the NGO’s were not interested in doing these very things, why would they need feedback from Canadians on issues like this? Throughout the SPP meetings, they have always claimed to have used feedback from the general public and included that information in their decision making. Could this survey be part of what they consider the feedback from the public, or our consent? A Survey conducted by the very same people that are pushing this agenda forward! Information which was used to justify their very existance.

Should private interests be guiding our govenrment on foreign and domestic policy? On matters that directly affect our sovereignty?, the ability to “self govern”?
